Online applications for Credit Exemption use SMP UTMSPACE Website.

Problem

1.     Previously student had  SMP UTM SPACE, submit credit exemption on the counter, for us it's been a problem for a limited time for us as students UTMSPACE as well as employees.

2.     Lost of form that has been sent and the students had to fill out a form and submit again.

3.     Form that has been sent by the students take some time to process, as should be sent to the UTM Skudai.

Let say the students are allowed to request that the credit exemption that tree This will cause problems if students wish to enroll subjects that conditional, because the subject to be registered requires students to take a set of pre-determined subject, such students must take TP1 before taking TP 2, the problem here if the student has obtained approval for exemption of credit TP 1, students should be able to continue to register TP 2, but students cannot register because it would take longer to put into the student information system.

4.     For admin, need to manually keep in data into the system and this will delay the process for credit exemption.

Proposed Solution

We group propose to create “Online applications for credit exemption” use SMP UTMSPACE Website for try to improve the system for applications for credit exemption before this used manual form and submit at counter.

1.     For our group if ‘Online applications for Credit exemption’ will be added in the SMP UTMSPACE website, will save time for students and they not necessary to send the form to the counter.

2.     Online applications for credit exemption will also be able to avoid form have been filled up by student getting lost by and for the management no more cases of students having to re-fill the form.

3.     Online applications will speed up the process of credit exemption. For UTM KL management’s, they no need to submit the credit exemption form to UTM Skudai and student can directly submit the form thru online application. UTM Skudai management’s can continues check if any application by systems made online by the student.

4.     For UTM management’s, no need to key in data by manually into the system and this will speed up the process for credit exemption. It also can avoid from wrongly input data by person.

5.     Student also can make correction for credit exemption by them self thru online systems if they make mistake before deadline given

Objective and Scope

The main objective of our group is to build “Online applications for credit exemption” use SMP UTMSPACE to improve the way students to apply for exemption of credit compared to existing methods before this. Student will save time for students and they not necessary to send the form to the counter.

“Online applications for credit exemption” will improve the existing SMP UTMSPACE on the exclusion list credit, which will be added a new menu to view the online application.

Summary

The development of this web which will benefit all of the UTM Space student. The students only need to upload the diploma academic transcript for reference and revision of the lecturers and the management of UTM. By using this site, students can apply for credit exemption applications anywhere and anytime using a web SMP UTMSPACE.
