Scenario Task 1
Submit credit
exemption
Nasarudin
is part time student at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Degree in Science
Computer (Network & security). He register in UTM on March 2014 at UTM
Skudai, Johor. During semester 2, June 2014, he notify that he already take
subject Computational Mathematic (SCSI 11133). So, he want to make exemption
for this subject. So when he went to UTM office to make exemption, many process
need to be done. He need to fill exemption form, bring form to get approval
from coordinator programme, then
coordinator need to give that form to UTM admin to key in data in data base
student.
This
exemption process take a long time to completed. This process a bit waste time,
money due to a bit long journey from Banting to KL, just to submit exemption
form. He hopes that exemption process can be done by UTM online application.
UTM need to upgrade their student application by adding exemption application.
This application will help student.
Scenario Task 2
Credit exemption

Nasarudin is
lecturer Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, he give lecture to student UTM in
subject Human Computer Interaction (SCSV
2113). He also as programmer in UTM Kuala Lumpur.. In June 1995, he get offer
to give lecture in UTM Kuala Lumpur. He give lecture in base on Science
Computer subject. In 2014, during management meeting, he was instructed by Dean
of Computer Science UTM En Rahman, he need to upgrade UTM website. Base on too
many report from student regarding exemption subject, he need to upgrade UTM
website application by adding exemption online application.
This application
will be filled by student who want to get exemption subject, then application
will link to coordinatr program for approval. After approval, it will be link
to administration for update in database
student. Alhamdulillah, he complete the task to upgrade UTM website by adding
exemption application on 2015 & now make student easy to make exemption
subject process. This application very useful to UTM space student.
Scenario Task 3

Salim
has worked in the Human Resources department at UTM Space, Kuala Lumpur as
Systems Admin since 2008. Currently he is a permanent worker since already work
at UTM Space & has an experienced in Admin System almost 5 years. There
seems a lot of delay work for him to do in HR since Credit Exemption make his
daily work delay because of the process take a long time. Have many repeated
step, student fill the form then he need to enter into the systems. He thinks
on how the method can save money & times.
In
his daily working life he need to check the status for Credit Exemption form that submitted by student either completed or
pending then enter into the system, before sent to Faculty then approval
process made by Lecturer. He hope there is improvement in UTMSpace systems
which can make his work easier & expedite his daily work.
